We've made a lot of talented friends in our
past 8 years of making music, and we'd just

like to share them with you!

Music and Bands

Resources

Steampunk-music.com

The folks at Steampunk-music.com are a fantastic
resource for checking out bands and listening to new material.  Check them out! Or don't; it's a free country.  America.

Sepiachord.com

One of the first, and certainly one of the best, to
bring attention to music inspired by a bygone era.
Check them out for some amazing interviews as
well as playlists!

Kindred Spirits

Escape the Clouds

Escape The Clouds is one of those bands we are
often times compared to and it's easy to see why.

The sweeping instrumentals, intimate vocals, and flights
of fancy compliment our brother from another mother.

I suggest checking out their song, "Until The End."

Vernian Process

Our sister band on the west coast and all around
musical BFFs. Check them out, they are a very talented bunch and have helped us out a lot in the past!

In fact, their guitarist Martin Irigoyen mastered our album, "When Banners Fall." I suggest checking out their song, "Something Wicked (That Way Went)."

Get on your dancing shoes

Vourteque

So, I'm at this event right? And this dapper swanky gent
is up on stage spinning this crazy mix of jazz and electro.
Of course my toes got tapping and I started doing a little dance and before you know it I was pulled into the wonderful world of elektroswing.

Check out Vourteque; you won't regret it. Make sure
you check out "Magic Dance" for all you Bowie fans
out there.

Platform One

Imagine Depeche Mode or And One with a singer
that looks like Professor Snape. That pretty much covers it, although I don't think I'm doing this band justice.
Check out their album, "Before The Fall" and hold
the Aquanet!

Dark and Atmospheric

The Wandering Cellist

Cello Luna (or Luna Skye) is a remarkably talented cellist, you can hear her work on "A Forest of Crumbs."
The problem about "A Forest of Crumbs" is you have
all these other pesky instruments getting in the way.
It's my fault and I'm truly sorry.

Check out Luna in all her glory. I recommend listening
to "Ghosts of Greyhame" all the way through.

Best enjoyed on a cold winter day covered in your finest
fur cloak.

Valentine Wolfe

Operatic vocals? Check! Amazing instrumentals?
Ever wanted to hear a double bass run through a
kick ass amp? Double check!  Triple check even!
I've been listening to "Nightflower" and "Gaslight Fantasia," but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their tracks.  Come to the dark side and rock out to Valentine Wolfe. Bring eyeliner. Bring Absinthe.

P.S. We are amp twins!

I Wanna Rock

Automaton

What can I say other than their facebook page is listed
as "Steampoweredmetal" and it's easy to see why.
Check out their bandcamp site and make it rain money.
If you want a good place to start? I've been rocking out
to "Age of The Smokestacks".

P.S. The instrumentals for "The Issue at Hand?"
Not saying it's me? But it's me.

The Rose West

You're probably wondering who is responsible for
those amazing power vocals in our newer tracks like "Dragonfall." Well, my friends the man responsible
for those amazing vocals is the one and only Robare.
You can check out Robare in his unrestrained vocal glory with his amazing rock band, The Rose West.

What does The Rose West sound like?
Coheed and Cambria. Seriously. No other band out there matches the power and intensity of this man other than Coheed and Cambria.  Coheed. .. and ... Cambria.

Listen, I'm not a poet; words and me don't add up, so,
do yourself a favor and check out "Fear of the Flood"
and "The Mekanik." Your earbuds will thank you.
If you play them as loud as I do, your neighbors will
hate you. I'm ok with this.

Acoustic Folk for Folks

Eli August and the Abandoned Buildings

Eli August and the Abandoned Buildings; what can I say other than when they are on stage you have a force to be reckoned with. Literally. It's like an army of every instrument you could pull from a thrift store on stage! Washboard? Check. Trumpet? Check? Clarinet? Check? Banjo? Which kind? Someone need a ukulele?
They got them! That's the Abandoned Buildings.
You'll rock, you'll sway, you'll tap your feet, and (unlike us)
if the power goes out? They can keep on rocking.

Take a listen to "Kind" and  "Alone" from the album
"To The Weak and the Weary."

Authors

Kat McIntyre

Is it raining outside? Stuck indoors with a cup of tea
staring outside wishing you were in the skies?
Are you a fan of romance novels? Well, we got the
author for you! Check out Kat McIntyre!
We recommend "An Airship  Named Desire."
You might say we even ... Desire it? Ahhhhhh ...
